CHARITY BAZAAR — will be open on every Friday of February from 09:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. Anyone who wishes to volunteer please get in touch with the parish office. The harvest is plenty; laborers are few. –Matt. 35-38. Remember! "Many hands make light work".

WORK IN PROGRESS —  all parishioners and visitors are requested to exercise caution and steer clear of dug up areas on the church premises and construction material to prevent injury or accidents to themselves or to others. PASSION OF CHRIST — the youth are organizing a play on the Passion of Christ. They require actors & volunteers of any age. There will be practice once or twice a week.

YEAR OF THE PRIEST — Pope Benedict has announced that the Church will celebrate a special year for the priests commencing on 19 June 2009, the 150th anniversary of the death of the Cure d'Ars, St Jean Vianney, a true example of a pastor at the service of Christ's flock. The year will draw to a close on 19 June 2010 with the Pope presiding at a "World Meeting of Priests" in St Peter's Square.
At a recent address, the Pope warned against the "dilution" of the priestly ministry. Without priests, "there would be no Eucharist, no mission" or the Church, he said. Let us pray for our priests. » more

CAUTION —  on Thurday, 3rd December 2009 a car belonging to a parishioner was broken into while she was attending Mass. A portion of the rear passenger window was neatly pried open and the handbag containing cash and valuables was stolen from the rear seat. The laptop which was on the front seat was not taken, probably because it was out of reach.
Please ensure that your car is locked and that you do not leave any valuables in the car.
